Bubs about town member Kristine, mother of Rori 12 months, tells us about one of her favourite products:
It's made of durable cotton and can be easily wiped down or popped in the washing machine to clean and you can even purchase a bib to attach to it for easier cleaning.? The easily adjustable straps make it simple to swap between my partner and I, and the straps can be adjusted while in use.? I have been able to carry my daughter from a very young age (3.5kg), and can continue up to a maximum weight of 10kg.? Even at the greater weights the design of the carrier is such that the infant’s weight is distributed evenly, with most of the weight on the hips reducing any strain on your back.?
Infants can be positioned both front and rear facing comfortably. The Baby Bjorn is widely available, and due to its durability would also be a good second hand purchase.? The only downside to the Baby Bjorn is when not in use it is awkward to carry and does not fold down to a compact size.? So I always ensure I have a carry bag on me to pop it into when I’m not using it.
The Baby Bjorn Carrier Active has been an important part of my baby's life allowing my partner or I to carry her fuss free, enabling us greater mobility whilst keeping her close & snug.
