King Edward Park Cooks Hill - Ordnance Street, The Hill.

Relax in glorious King Edward Park and take in the spectacular coastal views. This is a great park for picnics and family outings; there is a small playground, public toilets, electric BBQs and steep walks that are sure to give those mums with bubs in strollers a great workout!

Murray's Beach

Murrays Beach playground is in an idyllic spot, nestled amongst trees and overlooking the lake, this playground was a hit last weekend when we attended a naming day ceremony by the lake. A 20 minute drive from Charlestown is well worth it when you get kookaburras flying right up next to the covered BBQ area and a fabulous café a short walk away. The playground itself has the usual swings, ropes, slides and so much more all with a sandy floor to prevent any nasty bumps and grazes. Stay tuned for more information about your local parks!
