Juvenile ArthritisThe John Hunter Hospital now runs monthy clinics for children with Juvenile Arthritis Appointments are from 10am-1pm, then 2pm-5pm. At this stage, Paediatric Rheumatologist Dr Jeffrey Chaitow (of Westmead Children's Hospital) will be the VMO. People will need a referral, and book through the Paed Outpatients clinic, on 02 4921 3750. It is bulk-billed through Medicare!
There are also camps for kids with JIA, run by Arthritis NSW Camp Twinkletoes for families of under 8s, and Camp Footloose for JIA kids 8-18 y.o.
